Chris Jacob, CFP® is the president and founder of Cadeau with more than 30 years experience. Chris is a registered representative with Saxony Securities, Inc. (SSI). He specializes in retirement planning for individuals and business owners.
Over the course of his 30+ years in the industry, Chris has served more than 500 individual and corporate clients nationwide regarding the accumulation, protection, and preservation of capital. This includes estate and investment tax strategies as well.
Chris is a nationally recognized financial educator and speaker. He has been featured in the Senior Market Advisor and has conducted more than 200 presentations across the country on a wide range of topics, including Estate Tax Planning, Family Wealth Preservation, and Tax Smart Retirement Planning. He also offers continuing education for CPAs, attorneys, CFP® professionals, charitable advisors, and colleagues in the financial advisory industry. In 2013, he was a guest speaker at the Million Dollar Round Table’s Top of the Table and the Insmark Symposium.
Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who became security licensed in 1986. He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1984.
Over the years, Chris has been a member of a number of organizations and charities as a Board Member and consultant to several charities, including BJC, The Humane Society, UMSL, Maryville, Missouri Botanical Garden, Nine Network, and Webster University. Previously, he served as the Board President of International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy and as a Board Member of the Missouri Baptist Legacy Advisory Council.
Chris is a native St. Louisan and spends much of his free time with his wife, Geralyn, of more than 27 years, their three children, and three grandchildren. To say that he loves to fish is an understatement; he has taken it to an international level.
